Taking Natural Photos

Natural Looking Photos Are Better

Usually, when taking photos it's not a good idea to pose your subjects. The shot looks much better if you can catch them when they're acting naturally. Of course, the down side to doing this is that it may take quite a long time for the best shot to come along. However, the end result will be a much better photo with more natural faces.

This is especially true with children. If you pose them you will often get a forced or fake smile. If you can take a photo of them in action, the results can be really good. Action shots can be tricky, though, as timing is everything and also if there is a lot of rapid movement there can be too much "motion blur" to see what's going on.
